Holly G. Atkinson, Chief of Medical Affairs and On-air Medical Correspondent, HealthiNation
Dr. Holly Atkinson is chief of medical affairs and on-air medical correspondent for HealthiNation, the leading provider of consumer health videos across the Internet and on video-on-demand cable TV. She also is an author and professional speaker, engaging and entertaining audiences across America on how to live The Long, Good Life. Further, Dr. Atkinson is Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine and Co-Director of the Advancing Idealism in Medicine Program at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and Adjunct Professor of Public Health at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Dr. Atkinson also advises start-up companies focused on health and wellbeing.
Previously, Dr. Atkinson was a founder as well as President and CEO of Reuters Health Information, Inc. Within three years of taking the helm, she led the company to profitability and international recognition. Prior to joining Reuters, she was at Lifetime Medical Television for 10 years as Senior Vice President of Programming. She has extensive experience as a medical correspondent, including assignments with NBC and CBS News, Lifetime Medical Television, and the PBS health show BodyWatch. She is author of the best-selling book Women and Fatigue.
Dr. Atkinson devotes considerable time to non-profit organizations and charities. She is Immediate Past President of Physicians for Human Rights, an organization that shared in the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997 for its effort to eradicate landmines. In 1995, Dr. Atkinson conducted a medical mission to Bosnia where she documented the health effects of landmines on civilians. She also served on the board of directors of Legal Momentum, the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization devoted to advancing equality for women, for over 12 years.
Dr. Atkinson has a MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and a MS degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colgate University with a BS in Biology. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
David Bach, MD
Dr. Bach has been the founder and CEO of three highly successful healthcare services companies during the past ten years including, most recently, Leprechaun LLC which was sold in late 2007, generating a 90x cash-on-cash return for it's investors. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Dr. Bach was a venture capitalist working with TA Associates and a management consultant at APM Inc. Dr. Bach attended Harvard College and Harvard Medical School and conducted his Internal Medicine residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Bach is also a competitive martial artist and, in the distant past, was a professional cellist.

Previously, Mr. Forman was President and CEO of Register.com, Inc. (NASDAQ-RCOM) through June of 2003. During his tenure as CEO of Register.com, Inc., Mr. Forman led the Company through explosive growth and change including:
- Grew the employee base from 9 to over 500 employees
- Increased annual revenue from under $1mm to over $115mm
- Successfully completed three (3) acquisitions, including one cross-border EU based acquisition
- Received the Ernst &anp; Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Winner in 2002 and a Finalist in 2000)
- Raised over $150mm through a series of private and public (IPO) offerings of preferred and common stock
- Generated $100mm in cumulative operating cash flows and achieved 12 quarters of positive operating cash flow
From August 1987 to October 1990, Mr. Forman was a consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc., where he helped implement numerous business development and technology strategies. Mr. Forman is a 1987 Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology Program, and earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Moore School of Electrical Engineering. He also obtained a Masters Degree from New York University's Real Estate Institute in 1995. Currently, he sits on the Board of Overseers of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania and is the Chairman of the Dean’s New York Advisory Council.
Janice McCallum, Managing Director, InfoCommerce Group and Health Content Advisors
Janice is a respected thought leader in the economics of publishing and has been actively involved in creating and marketing electronic information products for over twenty years. She has held senior-level product management and content development positions in pioneering information companies, including Individual, Inc., Dialog Information Services (now part of Thomson Scientific) and DeepCanyon, a Hewlett-Packard company.
After receiving her MBA from the University of Chicago in 1985, she began her career in online publishing at Dialog where she built a collection of M&A and financial database products, published a series of business and intellectual property CD-ROM titles, and was responsible for licensing content from dozens of publishers. At Individual, Inc., she managed content development and publisher relations for online news and pharmaceutical business intelligence products from PJB, Adis, IMS, and Windhover.
In 1995, Janice launched a consulting practice that specialized in strategic marketing, product positioning, and channel partner strategies for B2B, scientific, and medical publishers. She has consulted as part of the Shore Communications network and with GrandView Insight. Clients include major publishing firms, including Thomson, Reed Elsevier, D&B, McGraw-Hill, Hewlett-Packard, as well as many smaller publishing and technology firms.
Janice is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has published reports on channel strategy (The Channel Partner Handbook, 2004) and publisher revenue models (How Publishers Can Profit from Contextual Advertising Models, 2003), both published by Shore Communications, Inc. Janice served as program chair for ICG’s inaugural Health Content07 conference, and will again chair Health Content08 in November 2008.

John Morrow, Co-Founder, The Ratings Guy
Prior to founding The Ratings Guy, John Morrow was senior vice president of Health Grades Inc., a consumer health information ratings and marketing firm. He introduced consumer profiling to the company’s Web initiatives and helped the company provide Hewitt Associates a new generation of consumer-driven health information tools to their Fortune 100 customers.
Prior to joining HealthGrades, Morrow was with HCIA (now Solucient, part of Thomson Healthcare) as publisher and senior vice president of corporate development. Morrow led the Syndicated Products and International business units; directed the out-licensing of the company’s intellectual property; managed co-development alliances with corporate business partners such as McKesson, Siemens, Cerner Corporation and WebMD.
Morrow founded the “100 Top Hospitals: Benchmarks for Success” first produced by HCIA. As publisher for HCIA, Morrow has published in the areas of inpatient outcomes, performance measurement, longitudinal analysis, clinical quality measurement and cost management.
Morrow was CEO of CHKS Ltd, the UK’s largest health outcomes consultancy.
Ken Nelson, Industry Specialist, Agile Equity
Mr. Nelson is an industry specialist for Agile Equity covering consumer health care & emerging technology. Mr. Nelson most recently served as the corporate manager of consumer technology for Meridian Health, a $1B/year NJ based family of hospitals and health care providers. Mr. Nelson managed strategic investments and corporate business development in mobile health, telemedicine systems, online services, and PHR / EMR systems. Prior to Meridian, Mr. Nelson was CEO of C.A.C. Media, which developed an embedded OS and CDN licensed by consumer electronics companies in the US and Asia markets. He also founded and was CEO of Astata Corporation an early leader in providing software and solutions extending enterprise applications to all major wireless data networks and devices. Nelson came from Smith Barney where he supervised technology finance and directed a team in developing Smith Barney’s services on the Internet in the mid 90s. Mr. Nelson holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Russell Perkins, Founder and Managing Director, InfoCommerce Group

Russell Perkins is the founder and managing director of Infocommerce Group Inc., a Philadelphia-based researcher, consultancy and publisher serving the database information industry. Infocommerce Group is also the sponsor of the annual InfoCommerce Conference.
Widely recognized as the preeminent expert on the business of database directory publishing, Russell has over 20 years direct industry experience. He was most recently President and CEO of Dorland Healthcare Information, a venture capital funded healthcare database publisher. Prior to that, he was a Group President at magazine publisher North American Publishing, and previous to that Vice President of a legal news publisher that is now a subsidiary of American Lawyer Media. Russell has also worked at AT&T, and began his career at Thomas Publishing Company. Russell was also the founder of Morgan-Rand, which became widely known in the industry for its consulting and contract database publishing activities.
In addition, Russell is author of two books, Directory Publishing: A Practical Guide, now in its fifth edition, and InfoCommerce: Internet Strategies for Database Publishers. Russell has also served as a director of the organization that is now the Software Information Industry Association (SIIA), and the Directory and Database Publishers Forum & Network (DPFN).
Todd Pietri, Co-founder of Milestone Venture Partners
Todd is a co-founder of NYC-based Milestone Venture Partners, an early stage venture capital firm focusing on technology-enhanced services. He is a director of Genomequest, SmartAnalyst, MedPage Today, Peridrome, and BizBash Media. He is also responsible for supervising Milestone's investments in DLife, Octagon Research Solutions, Expertplan, Derivatives Portfolio Management, Navtrak, TargetSpot, and Oddcast. Prior to Milestone, Mr. Pietri was an investment banker, a turn-around LBO firm investment professional, and a software company operating executive. Mr. Pietri received his BA (cum laude) in English from Duke University, and his MBA from the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Jay Srini, Chief Innovation Officer, Insurance Services Division, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
Jay Srini is currently the Chief Innovation Officer for UPMC Insurance Services Division and is responsible for developing the methods, tools and strategies that result in innovative health care solutions and positive consumer experiences. She will leverage her experience in information technology, research and leadership to provide total solutions to a quickly evolving health care methodology.
For the past four years, Jay has held the position of Vice President of Emerging Technologies for UPMC providing strategic direction and input regarding emerging technologies and solutions to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to that Jay was Managing Director for e-Health Initiatives at Internet Venture Works where she led technology and industry assessments of opportunities presented by strategic partners, investors and external sources and served in interim executive management roles for its' portfolio companies.
Jay Srini, is an experienced professional with more than 20 years of hands on operational, technology and executive leadership experience. She has proven expertise in multiple industries (financial, manufacturing, logistics and healthcare) and diverse organizations that include startup, large brick and mortar as well as academic institutions. Her background includes extensive healthcare experience and very strong operational and technical experience encompassing strategic and tactical planning, product design and development, personnel management and organizational startup activities.
Jay has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University and her executive education also includes the Kellogs School of Businessss. She is an active board member of HIMSS, , Pennsylvania e-Health Initiative, MIT Forum, Rainbow Kitchen Community Services and Charter member of TIE Pittsburgh. Jay serves on the Deans advisory board School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. She also serves on the advisory board of several enterpreunerial companies and on the advisory committee of several national healthcare related conferences.
